Employer Sponsored Visas

What are Employer Sponsored Visas?

Employer Sponsored Visas allow skilled overseas workers to live and work in Australia for their nominating Australian employer. Visa applicants must have appropriate skills and qualifications in an occupation listed on the relevant Skilled Occupation List (MLTSSL, STSOL or ROL).

Employer Sponsored Visas allow Australian employers to sponsor overseas skilled workers to serve their business needs or to address labour shortage in some industries.

There are both temporary and permanent Employer Sponsored visas, including temporary to permanent pathways via these visas.
